Dr. Daniel B. Wagner, DO – Biography
Dr. Daniel Wagner is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction. He grew up in Elgin, Illinois, and completed his undergraduate studies at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. His passion for medicine led him to Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where he earned his medical degree.
Following medical school, Dr. Wagner returned to Michigan to complete his residency at Michigan State University/Botsford General Hospital in 2000. He then pursued a fellowship in Sports Medicine before relocating to middle Georgia, where he practiced for six years. In 2007, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where he worked in several hospitals and developed a keen interest in hip and knee replacements, particularly in addressing complex issues such as infections, fractures, and persistent pain.
To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Wagner completed an additional fellowship in hip and knee reconstruction and has been subspecialized ever since.
He is married to an OB/GYN who is committed to evidence-based treatment for menopause. Together, they have two daughters who are currently pursuing their education in colder climates, with hopes of returning to Texas one day. Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Wagner enjoys playing golf and spending time outdoors with his dogs.
