Michele McPherson, APRN, FNP-C Biography
Michele was born outside of Boston, Massachusetts, but has lived in the Fort Worth area since she was 3 years old. She graduated from Keller High School in 2002 and went on to get her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2006. The majority of her nursing experience has included working in the ICU and caring for preop and postop patients at an outpatient surgery center. After 10 years as a Registered Nurse, she decided to advance her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner and obtained her Master of Science degree in 2017 from Texas Woman’s University. She is also a Registered Nurse First Assist. When she graduated as a nurse practitioner, she had a very rewarding experience working in head and neck cosmetic and reconstructive surgery with Dr. Jesse Smith who taught her the value of paying attention to detail and going above and beyond for her patients. She plans to keep applying those lessons throughout her career as she continues to help her patients understand their diagnosis and assist them through their treatment and recovery. She has always had a passion for orthopedics and is very excited to join Dr. Gill’s team and growing practice.
Outside of work, Michele and her husband Matt enjoy watching hockey (GO STARS!), traveling, hiking, and being outdoors. They have two fur-kids, Zoey and Bella. Michele also enjoys concerts, musicals, boxing, and off-roading in her jeep.
